Speed
vs. Throttle Position (Quiet at any speed)
To
optimize range on golf course do not hold throttle in full open
position. Range is dramatically reduced at full throttle.
Normal
playing speed on golf course is between 10 and 14 mph. You will
easily be able to keep up with golfers on carts at normal speeds.
Actual
range and speed is dependent on rider weight and terrain. Use
cart paths as much as possible and stay out of wet or long grass.
On downhill terrain or in short fairway grass, you can ride
up to your ball following clubhouse "cart-path-rules".
Maximum
speed downhill is limited by automatic controller at 19 mph.
Use brakes to stay under 19 mph downhill to avoid controller
turning off scooter. If scooter is turned off automatically
while driving, slow down to below 17 mph and toggle the off/on
switch with your foot to restart while driving.
The
speed limited controller is necessary to avoid regulation of
the scooter as a road vehicle. Similar to a bicycle, no licensing,
insurance, or inspections are needed in most states. May not
be driven on certain roads and highways.
